Palestinian Olive Wood products

These beautiful carved fair trade olive wood products come from a co-operative in Palestine, where since the year 2000 more than 1 million fruit and olive trees have been destroyed by the Israel authorities.


Olive wood used to be solely obtained from the natural pruning of the olive trees. Now the Palestinians often to have to buy the wood back, after their trees have been uprooted.
