The 23 tracks on Union Maid are a collection of work and union songs recorded by Anne between 1987 and 2004. Kicks off with War on the Workers, which sets the scene for this inspiring and uplifting release.


Songs featured are by Ewan MacColl, Peggy Seeger, Si Kahn, Tom Paxton, a superb rendition of Your Nursing Heart by Hank Williams, with the title track Union Maid, coming from the great Woody Guthrie. Anne wrote many of the tracks herself and this release consists of a wide variety of musical styles (folk, country, rock, gospel and reggae).
