Description

The New York Dolls have been much in the news lately, with the release of their new studio album Some Day It Will Please Us To Remember Even This. Sylvain Sylvain is their guitarist and New York A Go Go is a re-release of 2 of his previous albums.

Disc 1 was originally titled (Sleep)Baby Doll and disc 2 was released as Bowery Butterflies by Sylvain Sylvain & the Criminals.

Some of the songs have been co-written with the Dolls front man David Johansen, and there’s also a track written by the late Johnny Thunders. This excellent cd marks an important contribution for all those fans of the New York Dolls and of the great talent that is Sylvain Sylvain.

A real rock and roll classic.
