Bonobo TV
Just to show we are on the cutting edge of this new technology (honest), we would like to welcome the launch of a new internet based tv channel, Bonobo TV.
Founded by our good friend Geoff Francis, Bonobo TV is described as 'In a beautiful world where the greater part of humanity seems focused on the negative BONOBO.TV is unrepentant in wanting to celebrate the joy of nature and the peace in beauty which it brings.'
Good stuff and good luck: www.bonobo.tv
Music Fund for Cuba
The Music Fund for Cuba was set up to commemorate the life of the great Kirsty MacColl, a great friend to Cuba. The aim of the charity is to fund the arts and music in Cuba, which have been starved of finance due to the vindictive blockade enforced by the USA.
Already £10,000 has been donated in a remarkable show of international solidarity, but more is always needed. For more information and details of how you can donate, please visit:www.musicfundforcuba.org.uk

No to Trident
The appalling, but sadly predictable, decision by the new labour government to seek to spend £25 billion on developing and operating a new generation of Trident nuclear missiles must be challenged.
Perhaps its just us here, but having invaded Iraq on the pretext that they had weapons of mass destruction (which they didn’t), there seems to be a slight whiff of hypocrisy with our government now proposing to spend such an obscene amount of money in developing a new generation of our own weapons of mass destruction.
