Description
A collection of both traditional and self penned songs about life in the North East of England. Billy Mitchell is well known from his work with Jack the Lad and fronting the laterday Lindisfarne, as well as enjoying great status from his solo work.
The Devil's Ground forms part of the Northumbria Anthology, a musical celebration of the North East, and is nicely dedicated to 'all miners and their families, past and present', from which stock Billy Mitchell came from.
