Description
Very many years ago sitting in a tractor waiting to cut a wild flower meadow in Essex (it’s a long story), the nature reserve warden just back from Glastonbury, slipped a tape into the cassette player in the tractor cab and out came some of the most striking music I had ever heard. The whole car park, full of people on a ‘job creation’ scheme (great people, rubbish scheme) went quiet. It was quite a moment.
Kangaroo Moon and its founder and driving force Mark Robson, continue to inspire to this day. Their mix of folk, celtic, rock, ambient, new age, world and trance music, often driven by Marks didgeridoo, is of the very highest quality and they remain in our opinion one of the most underrated bands in the UK today.
