Description
Its great to be able to feature some local music on Four Dogs Music, and it dosn't come much more local than The Sheiling, who are based just down the coast from us in Aberystwyth.
The Sheiling are a collective of local musicians, led by singer/songwriter Dylan Jones. Life In A Box has 17 tracks with writing credits shared between different members as well as some covers. This release has some of the best moments from past recordings but also some more recent work all played to a very high standard.
Like us here at Four Dogs Music, Dylan is an admirer of the great Nick Drake and two fine interpretations of his songs are included (From The Morning and Clothes Of Sand). Another highlight for us is the violin playing of Lucy Jones, which brings a real class to the proceedings.
