Description

Following on from his fabulous Rant album, Ian Hunter has again more than come up with the goods with Shrunken Heads. (You might even say it was The Golden Age Of Rock n Roll, if you didn't know any better!).

The ex Mott The Hoople main man does seem to get better and better, which after over 40 years of making music is a huge achievement.  The album covers familar Hunter territory, social comment, American politics, self observation etc etc.  The fact that it sounds as fresh and as strong as it does, just justifies his position as one of rock and roll's elder statesman (and I'm sure he would hate that !).
