Description
'Best Of' release of Richard and Linda Thompson's recordings on Island Records. They need little introduction, but with Linda's voice and the songwritng and guitar playing of Richard, it is not hard to see why they were such an awsome duo.
John Kirkpatrick also makes a welcome appearance.
So many classic tracks here, When I Get To The Border, Hokey Pokey and the closing live recording of Calvary Cross is inspiring. But perhaps for us here, the near perfection of Dimming Of The Day/Dargai is very hard to beat.
