Rory McLeod is a performer of immense talent who frankly has never had the credit that is his due.  Brave Faces is as good an album as you will ever hear.  Showing off the full range of his songwriting prowess, humour (The Man Who Couldn't Say Goodbye), politics (Blood for Oil and the Ballard of The Burston School Strike) and a darker side (A Very Nice Bloke).

Most songs were written by Rory but the few covers are gems, his version of Hank Williams' Rambling Man does a fine song more than justice.  Most of the many and varied instruments are played by the man himself and all combine to make one glorious sound.
