Description

Chris Butler is much regarded here at Four Dogs Music. He sums up the punk DIY ethos of the 1980s, if you have something to say – write a song about it. Chris writes and performs without any pretensions, he has a message he wants to put across, so he sings about it.

His latest CD Irritant again features stella support from Phil Doleman, and has 15 tracks about striking, against war and racists and Chris seems particularly vexed with new Labour and their friends in the Tory party (can’t think why!).

Chris writes and sings with humour, compassion, honesty and conviction. Top man.
