Brain Capers - Mott The Hoople
Product Description
Fourth and final record from Mott The Hoople on the famous Island Records label. After the quieter and more reflective Wildlife album, Brain Capers was back to the more rockier MTH.
Recorded mainly live in 5 apparently chaotic days with Guy Stevens producing, Brain Capers was a raucous affair but did have its quieter moments too. Ian Hunters The Journey is a truly anthemic track and Second Love is the first time trumpets can be heard on a MTH track.
Add in The Youngbloods Darkness Darkness and Dion’s Your Own Backyard, and you have a very fine album. One in fact in which Ian Hunter thinks he can here the sound of the early Sex Pistols.
