The Journey: A Retrospective Of Mott The Hoople And Ian HunterExcl. Tax: £ 16.13 Incl. Tax: £ 19.36Add to Wishlist
3rd release (originally in 1971) by Mott The Hoople from their time at Island Records. A more mellow feel to many of the tracks, Waterlow finds Ian Hunter sounding like Neil Young and tracks like Original Mixed Up Kid and Angel Of Eight Avenue showed a different side to MTH.
To compliment the quieter songs through there’s a very loud and raucous live recording from the Fairfield Halls in Croydon of Keep ‘A’ Knocking which shows why they were one of the top live bands in the country. Although at this stage in their career their record sales didn’t reflect this.
A great album, and now with 2 bonus tracks.
