Across The Troubled Wave - David Ferrard

£11.95 (£9.96 ex. vat)

Across The Troubled Wave is the excellent second album from Scottish/American singer/songwriter David Ferrard, following on from his well received debut Broken Sky.

In this release David attempts to explore his transatlantic roots, and it works very well indeed. All the songs are from Scotland and America and are based on the theme of struggle, whether economic, social or personal.

The album is produced and features the truly talented American Josh Goforth, not a name we had come across before but obviously one to watch out for. Josh adds a real taste of authenticity to this fine CD.

Across The Troubled Wave was recorded in the Blue Ridge Mountains and you almost feel you are listening to it right in the heart of the Appalachians. With playing of the very highest quality, an exemplary choice of songs and the distinctive voice of David Ferrard, this will be one of the stand out release’s of the year.
