Out Of Step, Out Of Time - Mark Ayling

£7.96 (£6.63 ex. vat)
Acoustic artist Mark Ayling, releases his second album Out Of Step, Out Of Time, following on from his 2011 album Memories and Ghosts.

A lifelong drummer, Aberdeenshire based Mark Ayling has now branched out into the world of acoustic music.

With lyrics that are mainly personal, sometimes angry, occasionally political, and always honest, he creates a sound that has the energy of punk whilst retaining the melodic elements of the acoustic guitar.
Discarding the usual Folk/Acoustic influences such as Bob Dylan and Woody Guthrie, Mark finds his inspiration from bands as diverse as The Jam, The Specials, Motorhead, New Model Army, The Clash, The Mob, Killing Joke and Joy Division.

Mark has been busy playing live as much as possible over the past 2 years including a tour of Germany, Belgium and Holland in 2012 alongside Brian Curran, and an 8-date UK tour in March 2013.
2014 looks set to be even busier with new gigs being booked all the time, and a UK tour being planned for the end of the year.

Mark has had the pleasure of playing alongside Justin Sullivan (New Model Army), Robb Johnson and Tracey Curtis at the 2011 Raise Your Banners Festival, and Ruts DC, 999, TV Smith, Goldblade, The Mob, Rubella Ballet, Proud City Fathers, XSLF, and many other fine musicians at various gigs throughout the year.
